Razvan Ioan Paunescu, the new president of Romania-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The National Conference of Romania-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held in Bucharest, on June 29, 2016. Over 150 delegations of CCIRC county branches and Bucharest and numerous other guests were present at the Conference.

Important Romanian companies and representatives of the main Chinese companies with activity in Romania participated: China Nuclear Power Engineering, Huawei Technologies, ZTE, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, China Shipping Romania Agency, Shandong Ninjiang Construction Group, City Garden Development, Tian Yi Corporation, etc.

On the occasion, delegates adopted the Development Strategy of the Bilateral Chamber, statute changes were made and the new Leading National College was elected. The coordination structure of the chamber includes representatives of the main member companies and Mr Razvan Ioan Paunescu was elected president.

The works of the National Conference ended with the adoption of a resolution, addressed to Romanian and Chinese institutions with attributions in the development of bilateral cooperation.
