The first Ibis Styles hotel in Romania opens in a year

Orbis Hotel Group and FAB Industry announce the beginning of construction works of Ibis Styles Arad.

Orbis Hotel Group, the largest network of hotels in Eastern Europe and the sole licensor in the region of all brands of AccorHotels, the world's leading hotel operator, along with its development partner FAB Industry, announce the beginning of construction works to the first ibis Styles hotel in the country, in Arad. The hotel will receive its first guests in the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Ibis Styles in Arad will enjoy all the benefits of being connected to the AccorHotels Global Sales and Distribution System. The new hotel will be the first under this brand in Romania aiming to be a key contributor to the quality of hospitality in Arad. "Romania is a very promising market with great potential, one of the key markets in the region and an important element of our development strategy. With the arrival of ibis Styles, a dynamic and well-known international hotel brand to Romania we are aiming to bring innovation and a new hotel experience for the guests. Ibis Styles offers unique design and atmosphere, a friendly service and welcome, where guest can feel the conviviality and unique hotel storytelling created around Arad city," confirms Gilles Clavie, President and CEO of Orbis Hotel Group.

The newly built Ibis Styles Arad will be classified as 3 stars hotel, offering 72 comfortable guest-rooms. The hotel will also feature a restaurant, a lobby bar,
3 meeting rooms and 1 multipurpose room for events and conferences.

The hotel will be conveniently located on one of the most important avenues of Arad, Aurel Vlaicu, at 0,8km from the A1 highway, at 8 minutes drive from Arad International Airport and 40 minutes drive from Timisoara International Airport. Arad is the most important road and rail transport junction on the national and trans-European corridors from the west of the country, only 20km from the border with Hungary, being the main gateway to Romania.
