Sorin Buse named deputy general manager with Tarom

Sorin Buse was chosen deputy general manager with Tarom and he will take over the tasks of general manager of the company until the nomination of a new manager, announced today the minister of transport Dan Costescu.

2016-06-01 16:36:19

"I have received from the Board of Tarom some news. The first part of the procedure of selection according to OUG 109/2011 regarding the governance of public entreprises was finalised. They selected the CEO deputy manager Sorin Buse, the administrative manager Paul Gurau, the marketing manager Costin Ciotec and the technical manager Dorin Necula. There follows the selection of the general manager which is going to be made by a recruitment agency. Until then, as far as I understand, the already selected, most probably Sorin Buse will take over the position of general manager," said Dan Costescu in a press conference.

Moreover, Costescu said that the ministry of transport and its companies must start to " steal managers and personnel from the private companies as they did for years from the state-run companies'." The AGM of the shareholders of TAROM decided with unanimous votes to revocate Christian Heinzmann and Tiberiu Ticlea as administrators, announced the company on 10 May.

According to the quoted source, the decision came as a result of the information received from the Board of Tarom, on the basis of facts which refer to the non-fulfillment of legal requirements, of measures included in the mandate contract or in the administration plan of the company.

"In the same meeting, the AGM of shareholders decided on the basis of the decision of the Board of Tarom no.7/2016 through which Christian Edouard Heinzmann and Tiberiu Ticlea were revocated from the positions of general manager-CEO, and CAO- general administrative manager respectively, mentions the press release signed by the chairman of the Board of Tarom Radu Florescu.
