Arval Romania, the company that specializes in full service auto leasing, announces its financial indicators for 2015, declaring that, last year, the company’s leased fleet increased by 15 per cent, compared to the previous period, going from 6,659, to 7,658 total vehicles.

This growth has driven a significant increase in turnover, as well, as the company reached 37 million Euro and generated 12 per cent more business than in 2014. A relevant part of the achievement is attributed to the brand's existing portfolio, since 75per cent of the new contracts came from existing clients, which chose to renew their operational leasing cycles. "2015 has been a challenging year for Arval Romania and we are pleased to announce that it ended better than we had forecasted. With almost 17per cent market share, we are confident that, by placing our clients' and their drivers' experiences at the top of our priority list, we have managed to create a winning strategy which generates relevant ROI and confirms the brand's value.", states Dan Boiangiu, General Manager of Arval Romania.

For 2016, Arval Romania targets a fleet of up to 8,400 vehicles and plans on expanding its
services and bringing even more innovation and carefully crafted, customer care strategies to the table, as it aims to satisfy the needs of its clients, as well as its drivers. "Last year has been abundant in innovative solutions; we had several very interesting projects that focused on digitalizing our overall services, to simplify fleet management and enhance the user journey. This year is all about driver experience and, even more, driver behavior, an area which has yet to be analyzed by Romanian companies and which we believe will help us find new, efficient ways of reducing costs by adapting to the end-user's behavioral patterns," Dan Boiangiu concludes.

The overall business growth experienced by the Romanian subsidiary is in accordance
with the Arval worldwide results, as the company has experienced the following milestones: 255,444 vehicles ordered (9per cent up from 2014); 189,200 used vehicles sold (3per cent more than in 2014) 8.3per cent increase in Arval leased fleet with 785,000 vehicles worldwide. The acquisition of GE Capital Fleet Services' activities in Europe brings Arval's total leased fleet up to 949,000.

Founded in 1989 and fully owned by BNP Paribas, Arval specialises in full service vehicle leasing. Arval offers its customers-large international corporates, SMEs and professionals – tailored solutions that optimise their employees' mobility and outsource the risks associated with fleet management.
