Lady managers in energy distinguished at the second edition of Focus Energetic Gala

The lady managers acting in the energy sector in Romania have been awarded at the second edition of Focus Energetic Gala held this week at Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest.

The Minister of Energy, Victor Grigorescu was present at the awarding ceremony that appreciated, among others, the state secretary in Ministry of Energy Corina Popescu, receiving the excellence diploma for "Promoting Romanian interests in the energy sector." Also, among the nominated lady managers was Sorana Baciu, state secretary in the Ministry of Economy, for "Promoting the leadership based on values," while Corina Lupu, state secretary within the Minister of Environment received the award for "Sustaining and promoting the national interests in energy-climate changes."

"The keynote lady managers in energy sector in Romania have been appreciated at the second edition of Focus Energetic Gala, rewarding the professional work, skills, commitment and drive to meet the outstanding results," said Gabriela Moroianu, general manager of Focus Energetic

Monica Hodor, coordinator of financing controlling department for distribution companies in Enel Group in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Italy, Peru, Romania and Spain has been named "The most impressive Romanian lady manager at international level for the energy sector." The Awarding Gala organized by Focus Energetic also welcome on the scene the general manager of Mol Romania, for "Innovative management," Lucica Tara, the general manager of Ministry of Finances-The Authority for Certification and Payments for European Funds received the "Contribution to EU funds accession in energy sector." Also, Geta Roman, president of Transenergo, the first Romanian entrepreneur involved in energy sector projects has been awarded with "Excellence in business."

The awards have also been handed to Alina Tache, general manager within ANRE, Felicia Racasanu, general manager within the Ministry of Energy, Gabriela Milea from Competition Council, Daniela Iordanescu, the investment director of Hidroelectrica, Laura Constantin, director of juridical direction and corporate affairs within Nuclearelectrica, Catalina Dragomir, the manager of RWEA, Genica Bobeica, the coordinator of EU funds-financed project of S.E. Craiova II of Complexul Energetic Oltenia, Dana Canea, member of AFEER board, Olimpia Vadean, manager within Verbund Romania.

The award for lifetime achievement in energy sector has been handed to Doina Visa and other awards celebrated the professional performance of young managers of VLER Ioana Gafton, Alina Manoloiu, Luminita Durau, Gabriela Sava, Alina Ruscanu, manager of energy department within Alro Slatina.
