Medihelp International appointed Heribert Kailbach as the new marketing and sales director for Romania

MediHelp Romania, part of MediHelp International, the Central Eastern Europe leader on the private health insurance market, has appointed Heribert Kailbach to manage the sales and marketing operations, starting January 2016.

2016-02-29 15:26:54

Having over 30 years experience in top management sales and marketing positions with prestigious international banking entities, Mr. Kailbach will specifically be in charge of MediHelp sales strategy and marketing support for the corporate and retail clients. In this position, Mr. Kailbach will directly report to the President of the company.

"We are very proud to have Mr. Kailbach in this strategic position as his valuable and extensive international and local experience in managing complex sales and marketing strategies will consolidate MediHelp as a key player on a competitive market", states Zahal Levy, President of MediHelp International.

Prior to being appointed to this new position, Mr. Heribert Kailbach, originally from Sindelfingen, Germany, held two local positions as Vice President of Raiffeisen Banca Pentru Locuinte and Deputy General Manager of ProCredit Bank S.A. a period during which Mr. Kailbach was also a Member of the Board of Directors at AHK (the German Foreign Trade Chamber in Romania).

At international level, in Europe and Asia, Mr. Kailbach held C Level and other key management positions with Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, the Postbank Group and the Vereinigte Volksbank AG Böblingen in Germany.

"Working with MediHelp is a real honour and a challenge as I move from the world of banking to medical insurance, a growing market in the CEE. In this new position I plan to focus my previous sales and marketing expertise to better establish international health insurance as a ‘must have' among the Romanian target clients, to upgrade the retail and the corporate customer care strategy, and to have an impact on the turnover of the company", states Heribert Kailbach.

During his career, Mr. Kailbach has successfully conducted strategies in sales (planning, acquisitions), marketing campaigns, restructuring & change management, banking (private and business clients, corporate business, credit business), cross-culture management, governance and compliance, significantly increasing turnover figures and profitability of the companies he represented.

Mr. Kailbach holds an MA in Advanced Management within the TOP-General Management Program of BSH in Collaboration with Management Zentrum St. Gallen, an MBA with the Akademie Deutscher Genossenschaften ADG as well as a BA in Business Administration from the Business Administration Academy (VWA), one of the top-ranked educational institutions in Germany.
