Transilvania Motorway could be ready before 2020

Romanians could ride on Transilvania Motorway before 2020, says Transport Minister Dan Costescu.

2016-02-25 09:39:54

Asked about the deadline for completing the A3 Motorway, Dan Costescu reiterated that he doesn′t like to provide deadlines, given the short term of the Ciolos Cabinet, however, he said that he believes that if the current deadlines for the motorway sectors are met, A3 could be inaugurated before 2020.

Transilvania Motorway was the topic of a Government′s Question Time at a plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies this week, hearing Transport Minister Dan Costescu. In the same time, the new completion deadline for the Pitesti-Sibiu motorway is 2021, two years earlier than the previous 2023 predictions, after the specially designed unit for the implementation of this project found solutions for advancement, according to Dan Costescu.
