Spanish construction consortium AZVI and VIMAC have won the public tender to build a road and railway that connects Romania to the bridge across the Danube between Calafat and Vidin in Bulgaria. The works are worth around 80.2 million Euro. From this, 33.8 million Euro are provided by the European Commission through ISPA funding.
