Along with the relocation to a larger office space, Endava aims to accommodate further expansion, which will also mean growth opportunities for the people within the company.

Since the opening of the delivery centre in Bucharest in 2012, Endava has employed more than 100 people each year, and has focused on offering career development, exposure to an international work environment, direct contact with customers and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in other locations, all coupled with excellent working conditions and a focus on work-life balance. As a result, Endava has been recognized for two years in a row as one of the best employers in IT. In the past years, about one in three employees has joined the company through referrals from existing employees.

The IT professionals in the Bucharest teams are involved in projects for big clients, international companies from the UK and the USA, most from the Payments and Insurance sectors. The key projects delivered from Bucharest include a large transformation programme to build the next generation of payment platforms for one of the most important payment processors in the UK; development of a platform using Scala and Akka technologies for a market-leading digital banking provider; providing a fully integrated set of software applications and services that manage the end-to-end lifecycle for residential and commercial mortgage loan servicing.

"The fast growth of our organisation brings great career opportunities for our employees, either in terms of exposure to large projects with different business backgrounds or through new leadership roles. We are looking for people who really want a career in IT and we have built a culture of learning and sharing skills and experience and the apprenticing of others" said John Cotterell, Endava's Chief Executive.

All Endava staff benefit from a systematic approach to career development and support through the Endava University programme, which includes a mix of personal and professional development, leadership and technical sessions, as well as e-learning training, while the employee engagement activities range from summer parties, to special Fridays, biking trips or involvement in charities to support good causes.

Endava offers career opportunities for both graduates and IT specialists, particularly seeking people who have knowledge of Java, .NET, PHP or Mobile Development, Business Intelligence, Test Automation, and people specialised in certain specific technologies such as Scala, Message Broker, Ruby, Oracle IAM or Siebel. In Romania, the company had a revenue of over 37 million Euro in 2014, up 40 per cent compared to the previous year, and now employs over 1,350 people across three delivery centres: 361 in Bucharest, 669 in Cluj-Napoca and 327 in Iasi, and continues to offer great career opportunities for both IT graduates and experienced professionals.

The new Endava office in Bucharest, located in AFI Park, Building 3, covers an area of over 5,000 square meters across 4 floors (9, 8, 7 and 6). The setup of the new office was carried out around an "outdoor activities" theme and new elements have been introduced to better organise the workspace: more break-out areas, four game rooms, two discussion areas decorated in a relaxed manner on each floor, workspaces with plenty of natural light for each employee, high-end materials for lighting and sundproofing, improved ventilation system / clean air filtering and conditioning air filter clean and conditioned.

"Our company is in a continuous expansion and we are happy to have found in AFI Park the office project which can accomodate our needs. The relocation from AFI 1 will ensure the capacity to grow our team in Bucharest up to 650 people" commented Radu Grosu, Delivery Director for Endava's office in Bucharest.

Headquartered in London, Endava has offices in the UK, USA, Germany, Romania, Macedonia, Moldova and Serbia and with an annual turnover of 84 million pounds (127 million Euro) in the financial year 2014-2015, the company has established itself as a leading IT services provider.
