HP GBC: 10 years in Romania, Ecaterina Ion becomes Center Leader

HP GBC celebrated recently its 10 year anniversary, along with customers and partners, guests from the local authorities and key contacts who have been closely involved and who have made a significant contribution to the development of the GBC.

In addition, Ecaterina Ion took over on the role of Center Leader for HP GBC Romania, the company announced. Ecaterina is assuming this role on top of her current role of HR Country Manager for Romania and East South Europe Cluster, directing and further developing the Global Business Center in Bucharest.

Her key objective will be to lead the Center initiatives and site-wide strategies related to employees, cross-center and cross-business programs. Ecaterina joined HP in January 2008, bringing rich managerial experience of more than 17 years in HR. She is a graduate in Psychology and Anthropology from University of Western Ontario and the holder of MBA degree from the Athabasca University in Canada.
