MOL Romania fuel retail sales in H1 2015, by 13 percent higher year-on-year
MOL Romania's fuel retail sales in H1 2015 hit 267 kilotons (kt), by 13 percent higher year-on-year, shows company data sent on Wednesday. 2015-08-11 15:25:26
The rise in the volume of the company′s retail sales (including LPG and lubricants) was supported by the expansion of its filling station network to 200 units this year.
The bulk of the traded volumes was represented by diesel sales, which stood at 192 kt, up 12 percent from the same period of the year before, while gasoline sales advanced 13 percent to 69 kt.
Group overall retail sales increased 9 percent in volume in H1, to 1,766 kt. MOL Romania Q2 retail fuel sales (including LPG and lubricants) were 11 percent higher y-o-y, reaching 146 kt, as to 123 kt one year before, the cited report mentions.
MOL Group is an integrated, independent, international oil and gas company headquartered in Budapest, which employs 29,000 people in 40 countries. The Group operates four refineries and two petrochemicals plants, under integrated supply chain management, in Hungary, Slovakia and Croatia. MOL Group also owns a network of over 1,700 service stations across 12 countries in Central&South Eastern Europe.
Romanian retailer Profi has opened four new stores in Romania, reaching a network of 324 units.
