EY Romania names 2 new partners in audit: Felicia Gavrila and Burcin Atakan

At global level, EY announced the promotions to Partner position of 753 employees, representing an increase of 12 per cent compared to 2014 and the biggest growth since 2008 until now. This year, EY promoted a record number of women to Partner level, representing over 30 per cent of all promotions made and an increase of 33 per cent compared to 2014.

Felicia Gavrila and Burcin Atakan were named Partners at EY Romania, starting July 1st 2015.

Gavrila Felicia joined EY in 2006 and she was appointed as Executive Director in 2013.Although she worked mainly in audit, all the while had projects and related services in the area. Since the second half of 2014, Felicia got more involved in services dedicated to specific sectors such as real estate and energy. In January 2015 she joined the regional group′s work for EY Capital Markets, at the level of Central and Southeast Europe.

Burcin Atakan began his career in EY in 2007 as manager of fraud investigation services department of EY Istanbul. The manager transferred to Bucharest in 2011 as leader of the local department of the investigation of fraud, subsequently becoming managing director in 2012. Burcin has over 19 years of experience in this field and held senior positions in leading financial institutions in Turkey, as Halkbank and Pamukbank.
