Law firm Musat&Associatii assisted Abbott Laboratories in selling the pharmaceutical division
Musat&Asociatii assisted Abbott Laboratories US, the global pharmaceutical leader in the largest transaction in the field, worth 5.3 billion US dollars, following the asset transfer and business restructuring processes targeting the markets in Europe, including Romania, besides markets in Canada, Japan and Australia. 2015-06-11 07:02:51
The transfer has been made to Mylan Inc. Group which, following the transaction, expanded its portfolio to over 1.400 pharmaceutical products and enetered the top 20 competitors in pharmaceutical segment in Romania.
The law team of Musat collaborated with two international law offices, Baker&McKenzie and Cravath Swaine&Moore. Musat&Asociatii team has been coordinated by Mona Musat, Managing Partner and Crina Ciobanu, Managing Associate.
The law office portfolio also includes legal consultancy for CRH regarding the acquisition of Lafarge assets in Romania, Electrica SA regarding the IPO- the largest capital market transaction worth 440 million Euro, Sterling Resources Ltd. regarding the 65 per cent shares transfer of Midia XV perimeter to ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Romania and OMV Petrom SA, Industrial Bank of Korea, regarding the financing of 5 photovoltaic parks in Romania, a consortium of Chinese companies regarding the development of power supply project in Romania.
