Classic pre war villa for renovation and sale

STRADA ARMENEASCA Nestling in the quiet central residential and villa zone around Strada Armeneasca and Blvd Carol, this residential property covers 400 sqm and is up for either sale or rent.

November 2009 - From the Print Edition

Situated around 19th century and pre-war constructions, this dishevelled but classic villa was built in 1910 and acquired by its current proprieter from the heirs of the first owner.
The dwelling retains the initial eclectic period architecture with ceilings framed by baroque-style floral decorations. Meanwhile other rooms are styled in the sculptured wood-carvings of rustic homes and original wall decorations use the abstract multicoloured patterns of Romanian folklore costumes.
The villa has six rooms partitioned over two floors and an attic, two kitchens and two bathrooms and can be used either as a residence or as an office. There is no burglar alarm and no central heating system, but the antique ceramic stoves have been kept in a good shape. The villa is not furnished and needs serious refurbishment. The yard is small and there is no room for car parking but space for three cars is available in front of the house. ■

Inside Facts:
Selling price: 950,000 Euro
Rent price: 2,950 Euro per month
Total built area: 400 sqm
Rooms: six
