UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions leases 7.000 sqm in A office building in Iasi

Iulius Group announced that it signed a partnership with UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions for the purpose of leasing 7,000 sqm in the United Business Center (UBC) 5 class A office building located in Iasi.

UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions will thus be consolidating its Iasi based operations in the office building that the Iulius Group company is currently developing.

UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions' new location in Iasi will have its grand opening by the end of this year, when the fit-out works for the UBC 5 building will be completed. The new premises will allow the team to grow from its current 300 employees up to 700 within the next 3 years.

"By the beginning of 2016, all UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions colleagues in Iasi will be located in United Business Center 5, a new building optimally positioned in the central business area of the city and offering one of the best combinations of benefits and facilities available on the local market", said Mr. Girolamo Antonucci, Branch Manager of UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions S.C.p.A.

The new location will accommodate the existing Back Office and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) population, but also the resources to be hired in the years to come in the areas of software development and maintenance that will make UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions one of the major players of the Iasi ICT industry. ICT is a key factor for UniCredit business, where the people will have the chance to enter in a professional environment, where they have the opportunity to learn from, and work with senior experts in an international context.

The 7,000 sqm premises located in UBC 5, representing a 2 million Euro investment, will be spanning on four floors and will be fitted-out following the "smart working" concept, a Global challenge involving different functions (human resources, real estate and IT) and having the objective to innovate the office with high quality working spaces, more adaptable to people's different needs promoting communication and sharing of information between colleagues and a strong integration between physical and digital assets

Iulius Group owns a national network comprising four shopping malls (Iulius Mall Iasi, Iulius Mall Timisoara, Iulius Mall Cluj, and Iulius Mall Suceava) and the Palas Iasi mixeduse urban ensemble. The office branch of the company includes a nation-wide network comprising over 55,000 sqm of class A office spaces, as well as another 15,000 sqm under construction.

In the Palas Iasi ensemble, the company has 4 class A office buildings. The United Business Center 5 building has a gross leasable area of 15,000 sqm. The construction works follow the "green building" principles and shall be completed by the end of 2015. The Iulius Group office building portfolio also includes 2 class A office buildings developed in Cluj-Napoca, in the immediate vicinity of Iulius Mall, namely the Iulius Business Center (7,500 sqm) and the United Business Center Tower (10,000 sqm), both fully leased.
