OTP Consulting Romania gives the start of a wide project of supporting entrepreneurship

OTP Consulting Romania, member of OTP Group, together with University Politehnica of Bucharest, the most prestigious technical university from Romania, announces the launch of one of the most important multiregional projects that targets the development of the entrepreneurial spirit and generating a large amount of businesses in the areas of Bucharest- Ilfov and South-West Oltenia.

The project "Enterprise-Successful business ideas and enlarging the enterprises in the areas of Bucharest-Ilfov and South-West Oltenia" is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Sectorial Operational Program for Human Resources Development 2007-2013. The project was developed through a partnership between the two institutions and its value exceeds 5.5 million lei.

The project's main objective is to sustain independent businesses through the development of entrepreneurial and managerial capabilities and assisting the persons aged over 18 years which desire to initiate a business in these areas. Moreover, the project targets the abilities improvement of both SME and employees, to the changing economic environment and to the globalization challenges.
The new business will determine the creation of at least 80 new workplaces, which will last for more than six months starting from the completion of the project.

By developing the entrepreneurial capabilities of the target group of 400 persons, as well as by building 40 new enterprises within the "Assistance for entrepreneurs" model, the project is registered within the objectives of Priority Axe 3.

"It is one of the most important projects developed by OTP Consulting this year, which will generate positive effects on the long run both for the target group and the economic communities from the two areas to be developed, Bucharest-Ilfov and South-West Oltenia. The integrated services that we offer assert the development of skills and abilities needed to build successful entrepreneurs, an important economic growth vector", says Agoston Olti, CEO OTP Consulting Romania.
