Agerpres awarded with Cultural Distinction Diploma from Romanian Academy
The National News Agency Agerpres has received the Cultural Distinction Diploma on behalf of the Romanian Academy, in the debut of the Romanian Academy Prizes awarding festivity. 2014-12-19 16:04:01
The diploma awards the "unbiased, consistent and highly professional activity of the Romanian Academy and the Research Institutes," apost from the agency reads today.
"We are very happy for being granted this cultural award. It is something special for AGERPRES, coming from the Romanian Academy, in a period we complete several important events. It′s a recognition of the agency′s activity and a sign of a good collaboration currently existing and hopefully will continue in the years to come," the Managing Director of Agerpres, Alexandru Giboi, who was handed in the award, said.
Founded in 1889, Agerpres is the National News Agency of Romania with the role to offer balanced, unbiased information, and to be the main source of information for the citizens and the bodies around the country, and also the most important source of information about Romania across the borders.
