"Ms. Tatiana Niculescu Bran is, in my view, an extremely suitable person to fill the position of Cotroceni spokesperson, but the official announcement on Mr. Klaus Iohannis′s team will be made in due time by Mr. Klaus Iohannis himself," spokesperson of the National Liberal Party Alina Gorghiu said recently.
Tatiana Niculescu Bran on Monday wrote on her Facebook page that President-elect Klaus Iohannis has proposed her to be his spokesperson and communication advisor.
"Romania′s President-elect, Mr. Klaus Iohannis, proposed me to be his spokesperson and communication advisor. I am honored that he thought of me. I′ll put aside the book I had started to write to thus turn from word bearer into spokeswoman," she wrote.
Tatiana Niculescu Bran graduated from the Faculty of Letters of the Bucharest University and from the European Institute of Journalism in Brussels.
Between 1995 and 2004 she worked as an editor with the BBC World Service Radio, Romanian language section in London. Between 2004 and 2008 she headed the BBC World Service office in Bucharest.
