Prospectiuni says it completed two projects in the western Romania

Prospectiuni, supplier of geological and geophysical services, announced it successfully completed two projects in the western part of Romania. The data acquisition services for Amromco Energy and Expert Petroleum, as a part of their oil reserves exploration program, were carried out in Timis county.

"The successful completion of these works in the west of the country is an important accomplishment for Prospectiuni, given in context of the anti-exploration campaigns, organized in numerous areas of the country. We thank both residents and the local authorities, who supported us in ensuring an efficient informational campaign, for the good collaboration we had", declared Gehrig Schultz, Prospectiuni CEO.

In Timis, we signed 180 agreements with residents and recorded 2925 elastic waves generating points. The projects also included farmlands, and the activities of the Prospectiuni crews were conducted simultaneously with the farming activities, without these being affected in any way.

"By successfully completing our data acquisition campaigns in Timis county, Prospectiuni proved once again their capability of performing quality surveys while effectively dealing with local authorities, residents, land owners and farmers", said Tudor Gafton, General Manager Amromco.

"We appreciated the willingness of residents to discuss the geophysical data acquisition works we wanted to conduct on behalf of our clients and the Romanian people. They understood the process and the fact that the unsubstantiated rumours related to our activity were misleading. We were incredibly grateful for the collaboration with the farmers in the area. Although they were performing agricultural activities, they understood the importance of the projects and we managed to carry on both activities at the same time." added Gehrig Schultz, Prospectiuni CEO.

Prospectiuni is a Romanian company with tradition and an important international supplier of geological and geophysical services. Headquartered in Bucharest, it provides services to Central, Southern and Eastern Europe, as well as in the Middle East and North Africa. With over 60 years of experience in the Romanian oil and gas industry, Prospectiuni has a record of successful geophysical data acquisition projects countrywide.
