Grand Omnia Center in Ploiesti is worth 55 million Euro, the most valuable in Winmarkt portfolio

Ploiesti-based commercial center Grand Omnia Center owned by Italian Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione (IGD) is evaluated at 55 million Euro and it is the most valuable asset in Winmarkt portfolio, according to consultants CBRE and REAG.

The complex delivers over 17,000 sqm where it hosts 100 shops, with tenants including Carrefour Market, KFC, dm, Adidas, Otter, Flanco, Domo and Benvenuti. IDG and its partner Inpartner Investitori&Partner Immobiliari took over the 14 retail centers in Winmarkt network in 2008 for which it paid 182.5 million Euro.

Until 2008, the Winmarkt network was owned by investment funds Ivington Interprises Limited and Broadhurst Investments Limited, locally represented by Romanian businessman Siminel Andrei. In 2010, IDG became the sole shareholder when it acquired the full package from its partner for 21 million Euro.

The full Winmarkt network in Romania is evaluated by CBRE and REAG at 170.1 million Euro, with revenues from rents of 10 million Euro. The network comprise commercial centers such as: Modern Shopping Centre in Galati, evaluated at 20.3 million Euro and 8.500 sqm, Cozia Shopping Centre in Ramnicu Valcea worth 14 million Euro and 8,000 sqm, Petrodava Shopping Centre in Piatra Neamt worth 13 million euro and 6,000 sqm, Dunarea Shopping Centre in Braila of 12.2 million Euro and over 7,000 sqm, Dacia Shopping Centre in Buzau of 5.500 sqm and 10,8 million Euro. Winmarkt retail centers are also present in cities such as Alexandria, Bistrita, Cluj-Napoca, Ploiesti, Slatina, Tulcea, Turda and Vaslui.
