ABB equips the electrical equipment laboratory of the University in Oradea
ABB Romania has recently sponsored the University in Oradea by equipping its Electrical Equipment Laboratory with ABB electrical apparatus, the company announded. 2014-10-16 17:11:27
The students of the Faculty of Energetics Engineering and Industrial Management will be now able to put their knowledge in practice by using the low voltage ABB equipment available within their laboratory and consisting of relays, contactors, breakers, plugs, motor starters etc.
"ABB continues its active involvement in sustaining the technical education in Romania. We are happy to provide the future specialists the possibility of having access to the ABB technology as a practical support in their study process." - said Tomasz Wolanowski, Country manager of ABB Romania.
Other Romanian institutions of higher education whose laboratories have been endowed with ABB equipment are the Technical Universities in Iasi, Bacau, Cluj-Napoca and Targu Mures.
ABB provides solutions for secure, energy-efficient electricity generation, transmission and distribution and for increased productivity in industrial operations in Romania. The company accomplishments include key projects in the power domain, including renewable energy-solar and wind, robotics solutions (with applications for welding, painting, palletizing and handling, with preventive and reactive maintenance), Flame proof / AMD motors applications and AMI motors applications for thermo power plants, low voltage panels supplying power to various production units in the automotive and petrochemical industries, as well as in the timber industry.
