OMV Petrom builds educational center in Prahova county

OMV Petrom assigned 300 million Euro between 2012 and 2015 for building a center located at Boldesti-Scaeni, Prahova county, meant to enable the educational and vocational activities for Romani community in the area.

The project is being developed by the company together with Centrul Rromilor Amare Rromentza, Habitat for Humanity Romania and other local institutions and authorities. According to a release of the company, more than 500 people will benefit from this center. The building will be developed as a passive house, an international standard in building targeting energetic efficiency, independence regarding water supply and other sustainability features. The entire power and heating supply will be secured by a lot of 30 photovoltaic panels and two thermal solar panels.
