Children hospital Grigore Alexandrescu gets new CT scan equipment
Children foundation Ronald McDonald recently presented the results of Mi-e pofta sa fac bine (Doing Good) campaign run since 2012. The results translated in purchase of a new computed tomography equipment for children hospital Grigore Alexandrescu in Bucharest, the foundation representatives stated. 2014-07-25 14:28:51
According to data, around 3.000 children patients will be diagnosed yearly, meaning 8 to ten patients daily.
The foundation started social responsibility and citizenship acts in Romania in 1998 and ever since, it involved in different projects dedicated to helping children and children-related institutions and hospitals. At four years since the foundation launched in Romania, they developed the first local Ronald McDonald House, a project that offers free staying for parents with hospitalized children at Grigore Alexandrescu. During time, the foundation notes over 7.000 parents benefiting from this help in need.
