DTZ: Cargus rents a multifunctional property of 5,000 sqm in the north side of Bucharest Ring Road

The international real estate consultancy company DTZ Echinox announces that the carrier company Cargus has rented a 5,000 sqm warehouse and office space (3,000 sqm warehouse and 2,000 sqm office and call centre), owned by the logistics and transportation company Triton International Cargo.

DTZ Echinox assisted Triton International Cargo in evaluating the company's property, located in a top area for the distribution and logistics segment, with high quality construction standards. DTZ offered Cargus the best option for expanding the company operations, according to the complex and profile specific requirements: prime location in the north area, class A property, vast exterior parking, generous office space connected to the warehouse space, fast access and competitive commercial terms.

Recently, Urgent Curier announced it merges with Cargus International after the investment fund Abris Capital Partners acquires Urgent Curier. In October 2012, the fund purchased Cargus International, according to a press release of Urgen Curier company.

In 2013, Urgent Curier reported a turnover of 116 million lei, 28 per cent up over 2012 result. Following the merger, the fund will manage a company with a fleet of 1800 vehicles, 1800 couriers and a logistics network of 142 deposits. The manager of the new company is Gian Sharp, the current general manager of Cargus. Also, the managing board will include Abris Capital partners representatives and Balasescu family, the owners of Urgent Curier.
