Francois Saint-Paul is the new French Ambassador to Romania
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Titus Corlatean, on Wednesday received the French Republic Ambassador Agree in Romania, Francois Saint-Paul.

On this occasion, he latter presented the copies of his accreditation letters to the head of the Romanian diplomacy, reads a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, quoted by national newswire Agerpres.
According to the abovementioned source, Corlatean congratulated the French Ambassador and wished him good luck in his mission in Romania and also assured him of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs′ entire support and readiness to cooperate and dialogue, with a view to strengthening further the bilateral relation between Romania and France.
The interlocutors briefly reviewed the milestones of cooperation between the two countries. They also expressed the common wish to support further the development pace of the bilateral cooperation, in compliance with the principles and orientations of the Strategic Partnership between the two countries and the Roadmap signed on February 2013 by the Romanian and French heads of governments. Minister Corlatean and Ambassador Saint-Paul have evoked the accelerated dynamics of the bilateral relations, both at political level and at the level of the diversified and substantial sectoral cooperation, which important potential was proved among others by the importance presence in Romania of the French companies," MAE said, quoted by Agerpres.
During the meeting, the two officials reaffirmed the concern and attention paid by the countries they represent over the developments in the South-East Europe, especially referring to the crisis in Ukraine.
