Valentin Belcea is the new general manager of CFR Marfa

A former manager of Graffiti/BBDO has been named general manager at CFR Marfa, th Romanian rail freight operator.

Dan Valentin Belcea, before the nomination, has also worked for Prima TV, International Railway Systems (IRS) and Protan, with operations in waste management related to railway industry.

Belcea is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania-Philadelphia and previously the nomination to the helm of CFR Marfa, was member of the board of the railway company. Belcea replaces the interim general manager of CFR Marfa, Pavel Barculet.

The privatization of Romanian rail freight operator CFR Marfa will be resumed this year, but it will be conducted through the new Privatization Department which will operate under the Ministry of Economy, Transport Minister Dan Sova announced
