EFG Leasing: market could drop by up to 40 per cent

For EFG Leasing, the first nine months of 2008 registered an expected growth and the company extended its network of branches and credit portfolio. But starting last September, the rise started to temper, then everything froze and began to sink.
′2008 was not a bad year′, says Sorin Manolescu, general manager, EFG Leasing. ′We had an increase of about 30 per cent compared to 2007 and around 1,700 clients with a credit portfolio of up to 230 million Euro′.
