It's now five years since the dawn of a brand new industry in Romania, the private pension system, on a market where one employee currently pays the pension of 1.14 retirees, according to data from the Labour Ministry.
Market players are content with how things have progressed, to the point where there are currently 5.7 million contributors to compulsory private pension schemes (Pillar II) and almost 300,000 to optional private pensions (Pillar III), according to data from the Association f...
