"Our portfolio of loans is growing, and the results by mid year makes us optimistic about our future evolution," said Ilinca Rosetti, General Manager of ProCredit Bank. According to her, the bank has proposed to end this year on profitability, as in 2011. At the end of 2011 the level of nonperforming loans was 5 percent. ProCredit Bank's loan portfolio is EUR 191.8 million , EUR 53,2 million representing credit for agriculture. "We target mostly farmers, they are the most loyal. In terms of agricultural loans the conditions have not changed very much, " said Rosetti. In 2011 Fitch reconfirmed the rating of BB + with stable long-term perspective of ProCredit Bank, which means bank asset quality is above average due to its focus on production funding rather than consumption and due to diversified loans. In Romania, ProcreditBank was founded in 2002 and is the result of a partnership between leading international financial institutions such as EBRD, IFC, member of the World Bank Group, Commerzbank, KfW, ProCredit Holding and IPC.
