Transelectrica’s SPO states success

The subscriptions for the Transelectrica’s second public offering on the Bucharest Stock Exchange reached an unexpected rate of 137.58 percent of the entire volumes of shares submitted fo sale yesterday, the day limit for submitting purchase for Transelectrica shares. A number exceeding 15 million shares have been subscribed, the initial offer comprising almost 11 million shares. The tranche for small investors has registered ober-subscription rate of 276.39 percent, while the large investor managed to amount 122.15 percent rate. The shares value for small investors was less than 500.000 lei and represented 10 percent of the share package offered for subscription, a volume of approximately 7,500 shares. The subscriptions from large investors remain at the minimum subscription price of RON 14.9 per share. Only on the small investors tranche the price has increased to RON 15.9 per share. The offering for Transelectrica shares took place between March 14-27, at a total shares package price of EUR 37.6 million (163.8 million lei), at the minimum prce asked by the state, which owns 73.68 percent of Transalectrica stake, through Minstry of Economy. The other stakeholders are Fondul Proprietatea, with 13.49 percent while other investors own 12.81 percent at the company.
