Lacerta Winery expects a turnover of over EUR 1 million this year
Producer of premium wines, Lacerta Winery estimates for this year a turnover of EUR 1 billion. In 2011 the company sold over 40,000 bottles, over 90 percent of all production, most ranging in HORECA system. February 2012
Of these, 30 percent were used as corporate gifts for companies and 25-30 percent have been sold in the Dealu Mare cellar. For this year, Lacerta aims to extend its wines in the country and abroad. In addition, wine company released 7 new premium wines. New varieties are Black Feteasca Lacerta 2010, Lacerta Merlot 2010, Lacerta Blaufraenkisch 2010, Lacerta Pinot Noir 2010, Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2010 Lacerta, Chardonnay Reserva 2010 and Lacerta Riviera Rose 2011.This year, Lacerta wants to sell 150,000 bottles of wine, three times more than last year. Representative wines of Lacerta Winery in 2012 will be Cuvee IX and Cuvee X. Lacerta wines have won last year over 10 gold medals in blind tasting of wines in Wines International Salons held in Timisoara, Alba Iulia and Bucharest.
