Taxi Mondial, one of the largest taxi companies in Bucharest filed for insolvency

Taxi Mondial, one of the largest taxi companies in Bucharest, asked insolvency, while in recent years made losses of several million RON. Insolvency file is due for settlement on February 29. According to data available on the Ministry of Finance, Taxi Mondial SRL company had in 2010 a turnover of RON 2.3 million and a net loss of almost RON 3.7 million. Company's business declined in recent years, while losses increased. Thus, Taxi Mondial had in 2008 a business of RON 5 million and a net loss of almost RON 270,000 and in 2009 the turnover dropped to RON 3.9 million and losses have climbed to nearly RON 1.8 million. Earlier last year, the taxi company owned by Georgeta Puiu, had about 180 employees.
