BCR Banca pentru Locuinte: housing bank says saving tendency rising

Romanians are starting to save more money before making big investments in renovating their homes, according to Alexandru Ciobanu, executive director of housing bank BCR Banca pentru Locuinte (BpL).
The value of saving contracts clients have taken out with BCR BpL was four times bigger in 2010 than in the previous year.
The value of the deposits the housing bank has contracted since opening its business two years ago is 70 million Euro.
