ROMANIA Social housing state department the National Housing Agency (ANL) will slash its development plans for 2010 from 7,000 to only 1,400 housing units.
The plans changed after the budget for ANL’s paymaster - the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism (MDRT) - was reduced by ten per cent.

Udrea said the Ministry will allot 43.8 million Euro for the development of the dwellings and the remainder of the money will come from the sale of the 25,000 ANL apartments.
This year the Ministry put up for sale 22,000 ANL dwellings at a price of 347 Euro per sqm.
